LaRayne Eva Anderson passed away peacefully on January 1st, 2013 at the age of 82. She is survived by husband Rev. Stuart Norman Anderson, their five children and seven grandchildren. LaRayne was born in Hunter, ND, on April 6, 1930 and moved to San Jose, CA in 1952. She married Kenneth Robert Kingston in 1953. He passed away in 1958. She was remarried to Rev. Anderson in 1959. The Anderson's lived in San Jose, Redwood City, Lodi, Stockton, Sacramento and Susanville, CA. They retired to Petaluma in 1999. LaRayne worked for over 50 years as a nurse in hospitals, nursing homes, and her favorite, as a school nurse. She enjoyed and dedicated her time to children's ministries. She was an amazing woman, wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and nurse. She always put others first, especially her family and children who needed her care. LaRayne's indelible legacy to all who knew her is her smile, deep faith and positive outlook on life. There will be a Celebration of her life and a Christian service held at the Lucchesi Community Center, 320 North McDowell Blvd., Petaluma, CA on Sunday, January 20, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow.
