Chan, Chip & Deanna,

Paul, the girls and I will always remember what a welcoming Southern lady & friend Lyda was. We visited she and Howard every 2 years in the summer from Europe and they always invited us to their pool. We have fond memories and photos of Castleberry, Blackshear, Garfield and Reeves' family reunions at their home & pool. Lyda always had a smile on her face....and said, "Come on over, bar's open, food's in the kitchen! Eat! May she rest in peace.

Chan, Chip and Deanna, your mother was a classie lady. I loved to hear talk with her Texas accent. My blessings to all of you.

Years ago when I was courier for the Bank of Sonoma County one of my stops was at the Forestville branch. Lyda always smiled and warmly welomed me. She was always teaching me about banking and I eventually became a junior loan officer at the Sebastopol branch. May you rest in peace, Lyda. You were a wonderful friend.
