Marta Joy Idica, born in Ephrata, WA on June 15, 1950. She was raised in Wenatchee, WA until relocating to Sonoma County in 1963. A graduate from Santa Rosa High School in 1968. Attended a year at UC Davis. She married Severo J Idica in December of 1971. She played softball with the Santa Rosa Squaws for many years. She also worked in the banking industry for several years. She passed peacefully on March 26, 2013 at her home surrounded by family. She was a member of the Exchange Club of Santa Rosa. Enjoyed golf, bingo, gardening, mentoring, singing, camping and spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughters Alicia Idica and Amber Poueu, Son in-law Samuelu Poueu; Grandchildren: Christopher Smith, Doris Smith, Makila Smith, Nevaeh Poueu, Josephine Smith, Severo Poueu and Samuelu Poueu, Jr., all of Santa Rosa, CA. Sisters: Martina Inong, Alberta Manuel, Debra Saulque and Helen Pagal Brown; brothers: Harold Inong, Miguel Inong, Donald Pagal. She is preceded by her late husband, Severo J Idica; parents: Laura Gascon and Albert Pagal; brother: Kevin Gascon; baby sister: Caridad Pagal Services will be held on Friday, March 29, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Eggen & Lance at 1540 Mendocino Avenue, Santa Rosa.
