Entered into rest, at home, June 22, 2013 in Fulton, CA. Loving nineteen year husband of Denise DeBonis. Beloved step-father of Nick Esposti of Portland, OR, Marie (Dan) Winter of Windsor, CA and Tony (Sonja) Esposti of Santa Rosa, CA. Adored "Papa" of Caitlyn, Caleb, Sofia and Geno. Also survived by his brother; James and his wife, Gail, Aunt Marie, Aunt Pam, Aunt Gayle, Uncle Nick, as well as his in-laws; Papa and Ma, Cindy Ambrosi, Don and Lori Morris, numerous nieces, nephews and a large extended family. Born in Oakland, CA, age 57 years. Michael is preceded in death by his parents; Michael, Sr. and Marguerite. He attended both St. Rose School and graduated from Cardinal Newman High School. He was employed with Interstate Batteries for twenty-six years. He was a life-long and proud resident of Fulton. He was a devoted husband, son and brother. His gentle spirit hid a marvelous sense of humor that those who knew him well, will miss. His passions in life were his adored grandchildren and sports, especially the Dodgers, the Warriors and the Forty-Niner's. Michael will be deeply missed by all who knew him and had the pleasure of listening to one of his famous stories. Family and friends are invited to meet and attend a Chapel Liturgy Service on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the LAFFERTY & SMITH COLONIAL CHAPEL (4321 Sonoma Highway, Santa Rosa, CA, 95409). Private interment.
