Nelda Mae Lawson

Nelda Lawson Obituary

Nelda Mae (Holder) Lawson, 88, passed away Monday in Rohnert Park, CA. She was born May 16, 1922 near Garner, TX to Richard (Dick) Holder and Janie Mays Holder, and lived most of her adult life in California. Nelda was preceded in death her husband Wayne Lawson, her parents; brothers, Edwin Holder and "Son" Holder; sisters, Cleo Brooking and Clotee "Frankie" McGregor. Survivors include several nieces, nephews and stepdaughters. Graveside service: 1:30 p.m. Sunday October 17, 2010 in Holder's Chapel Cemetery near Cool, TX. Galbreaith Pickard in charge of arrangements.

Myself and my family will miss that spitfire named Nelda! I'm glad she ended up in Texas... it's where she wanted to be. She worked in my fathers real estate office at one time and I've known her my entire life. She gave me a painting that Wayne painted to hold for her. If any of Waynes family would like it let me know.... Danny has my number. Bless Nelda.
