I don't know what made me decide to google Paul's name tonight. I was shocked and saddened with what I found. Linda, we go back many years - and many years have passed since we spoke, but I have thought of you all from time to time over the years. Please know that you and the girls have my deepest sympathy. Paul was truly a special man and I count myself lucky to have had his company in my life for a few short years over 30 years ago. I am very sorry to hear he is gone from this world - it is truly a diminished world for his passing. My thoughts are with you all. Kristin

The Roots from San Diego (Jack, Ruth, Diane, and Jack Jr.) send deepest sympathies to Paul's family. We spent so many happy times together growing up, and all of us treasure them deeply. Reconnecting in the 90's was a blessing. Please know you are all in our thoughts, prayers, and hearts.

I will always remember Paul's sense of humor during his days as a wine buyer and he possessed the rare ability to balance work and family. In fond memory and with sincere gratitude from the wine industry, his memory will live on. My thoughts are with Linda and Paul's family during this sad time.

I will always remember Paul for his graciousness in inviting me and some of my family members into his and Linda's beautiful home for dinner and special holidays. Becky, I know how special your Dad was to you as you were to him. You certainly were the sunshine in his eyes. He will remain with you forever. With fond memories,

Paul, you were and are forever our favorite wine seller. I don't know what we would have done without you in our early Healdsburg days. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.
