Philip was born on April 9, 1921. He passed away in Windsor, CA on January 18, 2013 at the age of 91 years old. Loving father of Margaret Muniz and her husband (Art); adored grandfather of Philip, David and Anna; great grandfather of Tony, Stephanie, Alechea, Arturo, Michelle, and Randy; survived by several great grandchildren and host of family members in Nebraska. Born in Nebraska, resided in CA for 89 years of which 36 years in Sonoma County. Philip known as Pap & Lucky to most, had a passion for the great outdoors including camping, fishing and hunting. Pap also enjoyed spending time with family and friends playing cards, Wii golf, bingo and spending time at the casinos. Philip was a proud member of the United States Marine Corps serving his country as a World War II Veteran. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion. He will be greatly missed. Friends are invited to attend the Celebration of his Life on Monday, January 28, 2013 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Windsor Healdsburg Mortuary, 9660 Old Redwood Hwy, Windsor. The Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at The Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Rd, Dixon, CA.
