Phyllis Pittock Obituary

Born as Marjorie H. Carson along with her identical twin sister, Bernice, on December 16, 1913, died September 8, 2010. She was from the Ukiah area and grew up being known as one of the beautiful Carson twins. The two sisters were descendants of the famous scout, Kit Carson, and were entertainers in their younger years. They were able to play many instruments, dance and sing in multiple languages and were artists. They were glamorous tiny twin ladies with lively personalities. Phyllis was married for ten years to artist Sadler Pittock, being widowed in 1951. She and her twin, Bernice Compari were also well loved in Yosemite Valley, vacationing there regularly for over 50 years. Because Phyllis trusted Christ alone as her personal Savior, she is now at home with Him in heaven. A service will be held on Monday, September 20, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. at Valleyview Mausoleum at Santa Rosa Memorial Park, 1900 Franklin Ave. in Santa Rosa. Arrangements under the care of SANTA ROSA MORTUARY EGGEN AND LANCE CHAPEL. 545-3747
