To John's family, John was our landlord in Richmond along with Clarence. I've had many landlord's and am one myself, but John and Clarence were two of the finest men I've had the pleasure to be associated with. They were always approachable, reasonable and fair to deal with. We'll miss John. Our condolences go out to the family.

I am so sad to hear of John's passing. John was my step-dad when I was a little girl. However, in many ways, he was more like a father than a step-dad. John treated me as if I was his own daughter and he showed me a lot of different things that I don't believe I would have had the opportunity to explore if he hadn't been a part of my life. I will greatly miss him. Michelle Snow Armitage (Lincoln, CA)

Kathy my heart goes out to you and the girls. Your dad was a great guy - I loved the trip he took me and Gordon on to Boulder Creek all those many years ago. He was pretty patient with the two of us and all our antics. I always smile when I think of him. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

To Andy,
My dear dear friend. I know that you are now in the arms of the angels, and you are also with Gordon and Clarence; perhaps you are even feeding Rosie some oats. I want you to know that my life is richer having known you for the last 35 years. You are without a doubt, the kindest, sweetest, most understanding man I have ever known. Rest in peace my friend. You may be gone but I will never forget you. I shall truly miss you and all of our conversations. Love you Brianne

My deepest and sincerest condolences you Kathy and your wonderful children. I think of you and your family every day. You are all in my heart.
John was a gentleman supreme. He had the best sense of humor. Every day he had me smiling and he kept me on my toes as i tried hard to stay ahead of his subtle humor. John was a devoted and caring man to family, friends and his animals. The last two years I shared with John will remain deep in my heart. Happy Trails to you, John.

Deepest sympathy to Kathy and all your sweet family. Your dad was a good man and it shows in your wonderful spirit. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you during this sad time. I wish I was in good enough shape to offer some help but am pretty laid up from surgery. Now I have to decide which regimen to do for chemo or just take my chances as Terry seems to want me to do. I am collecting all kinds of info to try to make decision. Anyway, know that I am with you spiritually and think the world of your family. With Love, Paulette & Terry
