Age 82, of Guerneville, passed away on September 22, 2012. He was born and raised in New York City. He served in the U.S. Army in the 82nd Airborne. He moved to San Francisco in 1968 and several years later settled in Guerneville where he opened a shop and enjoyed his life's work as a cabinet maker for more than 35 years. He enjoyed a challenge, took pride in his work, and continued to sharpen his craft. He has many of his pieces in local homes and businesses including Santa Rosa Jr. College. He was also an avid and diverse reader, eager for a lively discussion about anything from current events to philosophy. He is survived by two sons, Richard Fullerton Jr. (Ann) of Atlanta, GA, Raymond Fullerton Sr. (Julie) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; by three grandchildren, Raymond Fullerton Jr. (Katrin) of Santa Rosa, Sarah Fullerton Stern (Evan) of Golden, CO, Joseph Fullerton (Kelly) of Denver, CO; by two great grandchildren Lucas Fullerton and Matias Fullerton of Santa Rosa; by companion Pat Lee of Santa Rosa; and was predeceased by one grandson, Nicholas Fullerton. He will be missed by his family and friends. A private memorial will be held by the family.
