Robert Grandville Dickerson Notice
Robert Grandville Dickerson: Born March 30, 1932 in a tar-paper shack in a town that blew away twice to Willie Mae Johnson Dickerson and Jasper Newton Dickerson. He was the oldest of their 5 kids, Ondine (aka Billie), Betty (still living), Earl, and Sharon.

A child of the dustbowl, the wind sent him & his family west from Lefors, Texas to Oregon where they raised strawberries and ran a small lumbermill. When lumber prices fell, the wind grabbed him up again and onto California, where he picked cotton and ran a gin for a time. In the mid 1950's started an auto repair/wrecker in Cloverdale. Later he was also a kirby vac salesman, logger, millwright, carpenter, welder, plumber, construction worker, contractor. He was the Bob of all trades, and always said "son, if you learn to work with your hands you'll never go hungry". Survived by his wife of 58 years Kathy Ann Seminoff, and his only child Michael Steven Dickerson. I figure on Nov 29, 2018 he was picked up by that very same dustbowl wind and carried away to a better place.
