McGILLIS, Sally Ann Dixon Beach girl, fashionista, entertainer, hostess with the mostess, animal lover, decorator, gardener, secretary, manicurist, sales woman at cold water creek, Santa Rosa. Mother, grandmother, Gigi and BFF to many. Our mother, Sally Ann Dixon McGillis went to her Lord on December 17, 2016 after a brief illness. Mom was born May 19, 1938 in SF to Bill and Sarah Dixon (deceased), sister to James Dixon. Granddaughter to Madline and Syd Boyle (deceased), and Sarah and George Heenan (deceased). Graduate of Marin Catholic (1956) and was married to Donald F. McGillis Jr. 1957-1985. She was a long time Novato resident and lived in Petaluma for 19 years. Loving mother to Jillea McGillis, William McGillis (Kelly), Mark McGillis and Michelle Nishikatsu and her four legged child, Dudley. Adored grandma to Courtney Casper (David), Jesse Pinske, Connor and Ian McGillis, Angus (Amanda) Mathew and Afton McGillis. Cherished Gigi to Brody and Rocco Casper, Ryan, Silas, Madline and Maggie McGillis. Fun auntie to Debbie, Donna, Jennifer and Gregory Dixon; sister-in-law to Rose Dixon. Memorial to be held February 24th at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Loretto: 1806 Novato Blvd, Novato, CA 94947, care of Keaton's Redwood Chapel. Donations for mom may go to St. Jude's and the Humane Society. We love mom.
