Ronald Ralph Wareham passed away peacefully in the company of his family on Tuesday, May, 1, 2012. He was born in Vallejo, CA to Ralph and Betty where he lived until they moved to Santa Rosa when he was three. Ron graduated from Santa Rosa High School in 1962, and then attended Santa Rosa Junior College where he met the love of his life, Bonnie. After leaving the JC, he became a member of the U.S. Army from 1965-1967, achieving the rank of Spec Sergeant. When Ron returned from the Army, he worked at the Brothers-4 Shop until 1984. Desiring more for his family, Ron left the Brothers-4 Shop to become a Realtor in 1984 until his passing. Ron is survived by his wife Bonnie Wareham, son Chris Wareham, daughters Tiffany Harvey and Tammy Goulart (Dan), father Ralph Wareham, brother Phillip Wareham (Jana), sister Kathy Killion (Fred), step sister Darla Budworth (Dave), step brother Dennis Williams (Donna), grandchildren Mekaela and Logan Goulart, Bailey and Jeremiah Harvey, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and all of his wonderful friends. Ron was a family man who loved gardening, cooking, camping and fishing. He found great pleasure in teaching his children and grandchildren how to fish and build a campfire using the three log theory. Some of Ron's favorite activities with friends included abalone feeds, oyster feeds, and enjoying a cold beer, especially Lucky Lager. Ron had a strong love for the Santa Rosa community, volunteering his services, donating blood, and coaching youth soccer. An inspiration to all who were fortunate enough to know him, Ron went out of his way to help everyone he knew with unique and strong love. Ron was also an avid U.S. Soccer, Oakland Raiders, and San Francisco Giants fan. A memorial service and reception will be held on Sunday, May, 6, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Friedman Events Center, 4676 Mayette Ave, Santa Rosa. All are welcome to attend.
