Loving and generous mother and grandmother, Elnora passed away on April 21, 2012 at the age of 91 in Novato, CA. A devoted Salvation Army officer for 32 years, she retired in 1977 at the rank of Lt. Colonel. She was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 60 years, Charles McIntyre Sr. (passed 2006) Lived in San Francisco, upon retirement, moved to Sonoma. During these years she traveled often to see friends and family all over the world numerous times cementing life-long friendships that still exist today and passed to the next generation. Elnora is survived by her three sons, Charles Jr, William (Roberta) and Donald (Carol) and 11 grandchildren, Adam, Lisa, Laura, Matt, Ashley, Shawn, Jessica, Chelsea, Kimberly, Allison, and James. and two great grandchildren, Adrian and Kane, all of whom adored her dearly. She was always there for her grandchildren and loved them with all her heart. Her love will always be cherished and she will remain in our hearts for the rest of our lives. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at the Salvation Army Corps, 93 Stony Cir. Santa Rosa, CA 95401. In lieu flowers please send donations to the Salvation Army.
