Devoted son, husband, father, and friend, died April 18, 2012 as a result of an off-road vehicle accident while camping with his family. Brent is survived by his loving wife, Naomi Williams, his daughter Saleen, age four, his son Terrell, age two, his parents Steve and Camille Williams, his sister Heather, and his grandparents 'Grandpa Bob' and Flo. Brent was born in Sebastopol June 25, 1981. He went to school at Gravenstein Elementary, then Analy High, and graduated from Casa Grande in 1999. He was well known throughout Sonoma County as an outstanding baseball player, receiving many honors and awards for his athleticism. He led the county in hitting as a high school sophomore. As an adult, Brent enjoyed working with young baseball players to help them with their hitting skills. His other passions were his family and his 1990 Mustang. He enjoyed taking his Mustang to the drag strip. He was currently working on rebuilding the engine and had plans to get a 10 second lap down the drag strip. Since 2003, Brent worked for the Van Bebber Brothers in Petaluma as an accomplished machinist. He took great pride in his job and made many friends with co-workers and customers alike. He was still close to many of his elementary school classmates, and his parents considered him their best friend, too. They feel so lucky to have had such a wonderful and perfect son, who brought them such joy. His wife feels so lucky to have married her high school sweetheart and soulmate. Naomi and Brent had a once-in-a-lifetime love for each other. Naomi feels thankful that they at least had 13 years together. They were blessed to have two wonderful and beautiful children. Brent was the best father anyone could have asked for. He lived for his family and worked very hard to provide an awesome life for his kids. Brent was loved by all who knew him, and will be greatly missed. He had a ready smile and was always willing to lend a hand. A trust fund for the Williams family has been set up through Exchange Bank in Rohnert Park. A celebration of Brent's life will be held at noon on May 12 at Hessel Church in Sebastopol.
