Born in San Francisco, CA on June 24, 1915 joined her loved ones in eternal rest on July 17, 2012 at the age of 97. Preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Harold "Smitty" Smith, daughter Margaret Rinaldo, son-in-law Bob Brown, mother and stepfather, Annie and Tony Fiori, brothers Tom and John Fiori. Survived by her son Ray Rinaldo and daughter-in-law JoAnn Rinaldo of Petaluma, daughter Gloria Brown of Sebastopol, brother Dan Fiori of Santa Rosa. Loving grandmother of Teresa and Dwayne Rinaldo, Jim and Jeff Brown. Loving great grandmother of Brandin Rinaldo, Amber, Kayla, Chase and Hayden Brown. Gardening was her passion, until the age of 90 she tended her garden of multiple flowers and plants. Orchids being her favorite. A member of Petaluma Women's Bowling Association 500 Club until she retired her bowling ball and shoes at the age of 85. Upon the passing of her husband in 2006 she was cared for in her home by her family who welcomed help from Jen Drexler and her wonderful "care giver" Victoria Vetea Bui and her friends. In June 2011 she was moved to Mirabel Lodge in Forestville where she received "tender loving care". Special thanks to Pam and Jeff Painter for being wonderful neighbors and friends over the years. . Pearl will be remembered at the 9:00 a.m. Mass on Friday July 27, 2012 at St. James Catholic Church followed with a reception at the home of Ray and JoAnn Rinaldo.
