Passed away on Monday, August 27, 2012, after a two year courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her brother James Roat and his son Michael, by her long time partner of 23 years, Michael Kircher, by her nieces and nephews, Vanessa, Rocky, Mariah, Dustin, August and Chris. She was born in San Francisco, CA and spent much of her life in the North Bay, where she enjoyed biking, hiking, camping and other outdoor activities. She was an avid sports fan and a little league coach. She spent 15 years with UPS as a loader, supervisor and HR specialist. She will be dearly missed by her family and those who knew and loved her. Private services will be held for Dorothy.
