Aug. 19, 1923-Aug. 8, 2012 Margaret "Peg" Whitney passed away peacefully at home days short of her 89th birthday on Aug. 8, 2012. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Dick Whitney; sons Rick and Brian; daughters-in-law, Sue and Jamie, grandchildren Jennifer, Scott, Laura, Kevin, Jon; great-grandson Landon and sister Norma Eddy. Those wishing to pay their respects are invited to a memorial on Monday, October 15, 1:00 p.m. at 500 Palm Drive, the former Hamilton Air Force Base in Novato. A light lunch will be provided.
