Jules Glaser passed away at his home on December 30, 2012. He was 89. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Barbara, his two children Martha (of Sebastopol) and Rob (of Seattle), and his five grandchildren Liam, Lauren, Eva, Cameron, and Max. Jules was born on March 18, 1923 in Brooklyn, New York. He attended Samuel J. Tilden High School and Brooklyn College, from which he graduated in 1944. He spent his adult years in the printing business, most notably with Flair Printing in Manhattan, which he started in 1960 and ran for nearly 30 years until he sold it in 1989. He and his wife Barbara then retired to Santa Rosa, where they have lived since. Jules was a very active member of the Unitarian Universalist Church in Santa Rosa, where a memorial service is being for him at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 5.
