Entered into the presence of her Lord along with her daughter-in-law Sue Hufford on March 15, 2014. She was born to Charles and Mildred Jones in Sterling, Illinois on October 8, 1940. The family moved to Cupertino, Ca when she was a young child. That is where she met her high school sweet heart and love of her life, Donald Hufford. They married soon after she graduated in 1958 from Fremont High School. They lived in Cupertino and started their family. When their third child was two, they moved to Santa Rosa in 1972. They settled and lived in the Larkfield community until her passing. She partnered with Don in the operation of their pool business, managing the details of the company. She also took pleasure in delivering flowers for a local florist, enjoyed driving as a medical courier and assisted in the film room at Redwood Regional Medical Center. She enjoyed many years of involvement in the church where she was a blessing to a countless number of her Christian brothers and sisters. Her ministry in life was to her family and friends and opened her home where everyone loved to gather over the generations. She enjoyed family BBQs, gardening, traveling by train, shopping with family, tennis, and sporting events of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sharon is survived by her loving husband, Don, her three children Jay Hufford, Terri Garcia (Chris), Jeanette Carlsen (Len) and her brother Robert Jones. Grandchildren Gayle Bradbury (Andy), Robin Torres (Isaias), Kyle Garcia, Stephanie, Jeff, Joel Hufford, Anna Rose and Taylor Carlsen. Great-grandchildren Drew and Brooklyn Bradbury, Isaias, Isacc, Iliseo, and Isabella Torres. She was preceded in death by her son Timothy Hufford, her parents Charles and Millie Jones and her brother Jimmy Jones. Sharon will be remembered by all as a loving wife, mom, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and especially a grandma and grammie, and great-grandma; roles she took great pleasure in.
