82, was born to Ann and Jack Cardinalli, whose family were early pioneers of Pittsburg, Ca. She and her husband, Sam Molinaro, a California Highway Patrolman, lived in several California cities before settling in Santa Rosa in 1958. Barbara enjoyed the symphony, rock concerts, art exhibits, the Oakland A's and just going out with her friends and having fun. She was a lifetime member of Beta Sigma Phi and an enthusiastic member of the Red Hat Society. She was a mortgage loan processor, a member of the firstst graduating class of Sonoma State and she transcribed books into Braille for blind children. Her fondest hobbies were gardening and baking. But her happiest times were those spent with her large family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Sam and her dear brother Jack Cardinalli. She leaves behind her cherished children, Ken Molinaro (Alma), David Molinaro (Christy), Leslie Skegrud (Bob) and Laurie Cohn (Bruce); her adored grandchildren, David W, Alexandra, David, Erika, Christian, Austin, Mikayla and Stone and great-grandson James. She will be sorely missed by many close friends, some of whom still regard her as their "second mother." Memorial donations may be made to the CHP Widows & Orphans fund. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Eggen & Lance Chapel, 1540 Mendocino Avenue with a reception to follow.
