Passed away surrounded by loving family and friends. Lisa attended the school for the Deaf in Oregon, California School for the Deaf and Santa Rosa Junior College, earning an AA in Liberal Arts. She is survived by her husband, Sean Cowles, daughter Theresa, sisters Karin Rossi (Scott Sherman) and Julie Baron (Joel), parents Gerri Asti and Ted Siemens, several aunts, uncles and cousins. Lisa had many friends and acquaintances in the deaf community. She always had a smile, and was known for her infectious laughter and wicked sense of humor. Lisa enjoyed arts and crafts, knitting and computer games. She will be dearly missed by family and friends. A Memorial Mass will be said for Lisa on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1244 St. Francis Road, Santa Rosa. A reception will be held at Holy Spirit following the Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to United Cerebral Palsy, 3835 Cypress Dr., Petaluma, Ca. 94952.
