On Tuesday, April 16. 2014, Robert passed away peacefully at the age of 87. He is lovingly survived by his wife of 67 years, Mercedes; his daughters Cathy MacNaughton (Angus), Mary Ann DeGrazia (Frank), and Jacquelyn Harborth; his son Dr. Robert E. Jarvis II (Cheryl); grandchildren Brent McMicking (Paige), Michael DeGrazia, Daniel Harborth, and Christopher Harborth; great granddaughter Alexandra McMicking. Robert was born in Omaha, Nebraska on April 10, 1927 and was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Robert was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Navy, and survived the battles of Iwo Jima and Okinawa. He was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 57, F.&A.M., AAHMES Shriners, the Marine Memorial and American Legion. He was in the insurance business and owned Reed, Brady & Jarvis in Santa Rosa for 42 years. During his life Robert was an avid golfer, enjoyed traveling the world with Mercedes, and living half of the year in Surprise, AZ. Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of his life on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. at Daniels Chapel of the Roses, 1225 Sonoma Avenue, Santa Rosa. Reception will follow at 3:30 P.M. at the Santa Rosa Country Club, 333 Country Club Drive, Santa Rosa, CA 95401.
