Bill was born in Rockwood, Tennessee on February 25, 1932. Dreaming of a bigger world, he joined the Air Force and eventually settled in California. Bill enjoyed a successful 30 year career with Korbel Champagne Cellars, retiring as the Senior Vice President of Marketing. He loved to build and create, usually in the kitchen, cooking one of his amazing dishes. Once retired, Bill took on many other hobbies, two of which were building a second home in Truckee and restoring a beautiful 1962 Cadillac Convertible. Bill was a private and dignified man who loved his family deeply. Every morning he started the day with these words, "What do we have to be thankful for today?" He is the rock that our family is built on and we will long grieve this tremendous loss. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Laura Botkin, and son Randy Botkin. He is survived by his wife, Lynn Botkin, children Suzie Bush, Steve Botkin, Jason Botkin, Chet Heenan and Nadine Guiliano (George), brothers Merrill Botkin (Eva), Blaine Botkin, Lanny Botkin (Sue), and Dan Botkin, as well as five grandchildren and four great grand-children. Keeping with Bill's wishes, a private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers and services, please make donations to the Sonoma County Humane Society, P.O.
