Passed away in Santa Rosa on June 22, 2014 at the age of 15. Dearly beloved son of Jenifer Medeiros and Gabriel Torres; beloved brother of Daniel, Gabriel and Kaleb Torres; adored grandson of Dennis and Margaret Medeiros and Alfredo and Gloria Torres; loving nephew of Brian Medeiros (Denise), Maggi Ramos (Daniel), Amanda Medeiros, Alfredo Torres and Anthony Torres (Eva). Nathaniel is also survived by numerous loving cousins. Born in Santa Rosa, he attended Windsor High School and recently completed the ninth grade. Nathaniel was extremely family oriented; he was a key part of what made his family whole. His family was everything to him, and his mom and brothers were his whole world. He had a standout smile and loved his style, describing himself as "freshly fitted". He was proud of his Mexican-American heritage. An amazing athlete since the age of four, he excelled at basketball, wrestling and football. His involvement in sports taught him discipline, respect, structure and commitment. Nathaniel was involved with the Windsor Wrestling Club, Windsor Knights Football, CYO basketball, Windsor High School Football, the Boys and Girls Club basketball and Express basketball. Family and friends are invited to a Funeral Liturgy Service on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 8400 Old Redwood Highway, Windsor. A visitation will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Interment, Shiloh District Cemetery, Windsor.
