Born September 12, 1915. With the Lord by her side, she will be back with family and friends. The revered Gregsons, California Pioneers who crossed the Sierra Mountains just before the Donners. She will know joy and peace seeing her beloved husband Elmo Martini. Her cherished children, William Milton Martini, and James Elmo Martini; her parents and siblings, Stan, Ellis, Dorothy, and Maxine. Her brothers and sisters-in-law, cousins, and aunts and uncles, all will be there with open arms. We have been so blessed to have Harriet, physically and visually there to teach us. She had such an extreme passion for cooking, gardening, and travel. Harriet so enjoyed the Sea Ranch home with family and friends. Scouring the beaches for glass rocks and hiking the hills for those precious mushrooms! She would wait patiently for Elmo to bring home a fresh catch. Cocktails were poured. Life was good! Harriet was truly and amazing mother, Tom Martini, her remaining son, adored her and took care of her until her dying day. Her daughters-in-law: Debbie Martini, Jeanie Martini, and Karen Martini, admired and respected her. Her grandchildren: Ed Martini (Nola), Jon Martini (Kristy), Sandi Coero (Mike), Jeff Martini, Mike Martini (Melissa). They put her on a pedestal. Her great-grandchildren: Alex, Nick, Victoria, Gabby, Geo and Joey were in awe of her. If there were just three words to equate to Harriet's life, (though there are many) one is Strength, (even though her heart had been broken). Love, (even if it was hard to forgive). Share! Give all you can of yourself, because, someone needs your Strength. On July 8th, 2014, Harriet had fulfilled her being. Our hearts are full with joy and sorrow. We will miss Harriet with extreme passion. We love and thank all those at the Orchard Inn, the Franco Family (owners) Katie and David Franco Julya and David Franco, the gracious Caregivers; Amanda, Chelsea, Nancy, Gina, and Brianna.
