It is with a heavy heart, that we announce that Sarah has lost her fight with cancer. Her lovely spirit passed on Friday July 18th with her family and friends at her side. She is survived by her father Al Abramson, her mother Fran Sweeney, her grandmother Lois Glenn, her brother Gabe Abramson, her stepmother Robin Abramson, her sons Tyler Nix, Cody Nix and their father Eric Nix. Sarah was a loving daughter, grand-daughter, sister and mother whose love of life and outgoing personality and optimism was an inspiration to all who met her. She put herself through college, earning two degrees while raising two children and running a business. Through-out her working career, she always held a position that involved working with people. Early on she was a waitress and bartender, then worked at a title company before coming to work at Halls Executive Gifts and Awards ten years ago. She took over the ownership of the business in 2008 and many of her customers grew to see her as a friend rather than a proprietor of the business. She was active in the community and especially loved her membership in the Redwood Empire Active 20-30 Club. Sarah was a "Ray of Sunshine" and we will all miss her spirit and love. There will be a celebration of Sarah's life which will be held at the Courtyard by Marriott hotel on Monday, July 28th at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to the Redwood Empire Active 20-30 Club #1029, PO Box 11133 Santa Rosa, CA 95406.
