Passed away on June 25, 2014 with his wife and children at his side. Joe was born in Decatur, Texas on March 14, 1926. He joined the Navy during World War II and served in the Pacific Theater. After the war, he attended the University of Houston. In 1949 he married Lorraine Brennan whom he had met in San Francisco while he was in the Navy. In his career as an Architectural Designer, he worked for Standard Oil, Halliburton and finally retiring from Bechtel Corporation after 20 years. His favorite sport was golf at which he became very proficient. His other hobby was photography at which he excelled. Joe will be sorely missed by his wife Lorraine, sons Robert and Larry and daughter Kathleen. He is also survived by three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends and family will are invited to a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. August 4, 2014 at St. Eugene's Catholic Church, 2323 Montgomery Drive, Santa Rosa, CA 95405.
