Born on Oct. 21st, 1955, resident of Windsor, CA, Cathy passed away peacefully on Aug. 3rd, 2014, in San Fran-cisco, CA, being serenaded by her loving husband, Bill Fallis, just as he did on their wedding day. The song: "Unforgettable" (just like Cathy). She was always the life of the party but more often than not, the one who put the party together in first place. She loved to dance, and rumor is that she was listening to her music and dancing, not too long ago, through the halls of UCSF. She was independent and strong all her life and to the end. She was a loving and giving person to all in her life, but she had a special love for the elderly and made it her passion to see that they were loved and cared for with dignity. She was an active member of her community, very involved with the Windsor downtown activities and a member of the Windsor Odd Fellows. Cathy will be missed by many, but specially by her husband Bill Fallis, step-daughters Tammy Neurburge and Dana Bryant, grand-children Chelsea, Mikayla, Halle, Brooke and Jacob, brother David Washburn and wife Lilliam, nephews Rock, Brink and Hannah and lifelong friends. Cathy requested that in lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in her honor to Wounded Warriors of America, or potted flowers may be sent to the Windsor Mortuary to later be planted in her backyard by her grandchildren, in her memory. Memorial Services will be held Monday, Aug. 11th, 2014, 10:00 a.m., at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Healdsburg, immediately followed by burial service at Shiloh Cemetery in Windsor. And as Cathy would have wanted, all are welcome to a Celebration of Life gathering at Charlie's Grill, immediately following.
