DuPONT,Donald F. Died at the age of 81 quietly on Valentines Day, February 14, 2011 in Santa Rosa. He was born in San Francisco at Saint Mary's on September 7, 1929, the son of Margaret Mary Kowskie DuPont and James Fred DuPont. Donald F. DuPont is survived by his loving wife of nearly 60 years, Edelma Arce DuPont, and three children Donald and wife Judy, devoted daughter Yvonne Kunde, and James and wife Laura; sister Joan I. Fehman, uncle Jack Kowskie and wife Angie. He had eleven grand children, and six great grand children. He was predeceased by his eldest son, Rudolph. Don was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He worked as an upholsterer and furniture manufacturer for 40 years. He was a 44-year resident of Sonoma and a native of San Francisco. Please join family and friends for a celebration of his life at a Memorial service at Duggan's Mission Chapel, 525 West Napa St. Sonoma, on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. A private inurnment will be held at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery in Sonoma.
