Passed away April 25, 2012 at her daughter's home, one month before her 90th birthday. Born on May 23, 1922 in Scarborough, Yorkshire, England to Harold Foxton and Esther Scarborough. Married William Coyne on June 13, 1942. Loving mother of Patricia Sayerwin (Patrick), Rohnert Park, CA, William Coyne (Shirley), Elmo, Utah, and Andrew Coyne (Charito) Cebu, Philippines. Dearest grandmother of Seth Coyne (Sally), Travis Coyne (Amber), Clinton Coyne (Libby), Bridget Coyne Lake (Michael), Gwendolyn Coyne Nielson (Jesse), Jessica Coyne Kalenik, Jeffrey Sayerwin; and 14 great-grandchildren, and in England by nephews and nieces Peter Foxton, Shelagh Foxton Harrington, Christine Foxton Jeffels, Kathleen Coyne Ingham, Maureen Coyne Buckley, Carol Howarth, Gordon Howarth, and sister-in-law Doreen Foxton. Predeceased by her parents, husband, children David and Edward Coyne, siblings William, John, Harold, Esther, two great-grandsons, nephew Stephen Foxton, and niece Elaine Foxton Spink. Sally became a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1952 and served faithfully in many capacities in the Church, including Relief Society President. The family immigrated to Utah in 1963, moving to California in 1968. She loved to knit, sew, read, write poetry, bake, garden and travel. She spent all of her life learning all she could. Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Saturday, May 5, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. with a visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 5700 Country Club Drive, Rohnert Park, CA. Burial to follow at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery, 2500 Fifth Avenue, San Rafael, CA. Family assisted by Parent-Sorensen Mortuary And Crematory, Petaluma, 763-4131.
