Nov. 3, 1935 - Dec. 15, 2012 Michael passed away after having surgery at the age of 77. He grew up in Maryland along with his twin sister, Jean and older sister, Marlene. He was married for 43 years to Thelma Mondin. He was very proud of his children, Mark (Carole) and Eric (Pam) Grady, and Terri (Jon) Fitzpatrick as well as his eight grandchildren. Like his father, he became an electrician. He worked on the Watergate building and the Metro subway in Washington, D.C. He moved to Santa Rosa in 1979 to work on the Warm Springs Dam project. He was a former president of the Ski Club of Washington, D.C. and loved playing bridge, pinochle and cribbage with family and friends, and poker with the six pack. Mike never met a stranger he didn't like and always had a story to tell. His positive attitude in spite of his physical difficulties was inspiring to all who knew him. He lived life to the fullest and left us with many great memories. A celebration of his life will be held at his home on February 2 at 2:00 p.m.
