Frank Joseph Cuculich, born in San Franciso, CA, on June 14, 1923, passed away at his home in Stockton, CA on Saturday, February 2, 2013. Loving husband to Mila Cuculich of Stockton, CA. Loving Father to George (Regina) and Linda Cuculich of Santa Rosa, CA. Brother to John Culich (deceased) of Los Altos, CA and Mary Sankovich of El Cerrito, CA. Grandfather to Samuel and Maxwell Cuculich. Uncle to Bill (Gaby) and Greg Sankovich, Claude Culich, and Boris (Patricia) Jancetic. Born to Croatian immigrants, Ivan (John) and Antonia Cuculich, in the Potrero Hill District in the city he cherished, San Francisco, CA. A proud World War II Veteran, drafted to the United States Army in 1942, landed at Utah beach, participated with the release of POW's. Purple Heart recipient and awarded three battle stars. Returned home and started several business ventures - a turkey ranch, maintained apartment complexes and owned a vineyard. Worked as a meat cutter throughout the North Bay. Loved boating on the Delta aboard his boat, Moja Barka and later, My Lady. Avid sports fan. Throughout his life, Frank enjoyed helping other people and will be greatly missed. He will be remembered as a good, hard working, honest man, who always kept his word. Services will be held today, Thursday, February 7, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel at Casa Bonita Funeral Home, 2500 Cemetery Lane, Stockton, CA 95204.
