Artist. Warrior. Father. Husband. Brother. These are just some of the aspects that made up Tim Sullivan. Like so many great stars before him, he burned passionately and completely, then in an instant, was taken from us too soon. Charming, intelligent, and possessed with an unruly sense of humor, Tim touched many, many lives. As a Vietnam Combat Veteran, Tim completed a tour with the 1st of the 8th Calvary (Airmobile), from 1967-1968. Tim showed signs of artistic talent at an early age, and would go on to become a multi talented and award-winning graphic artist. As self-proclaimed folk hero known as "Animal", he helped to bring the Petaluma pothole crisis to the forefront of the public's awareness, with a humorous campaign. But above all, his role as a father was the most important part of his life. Timothy Sullivan departed from this dimension, surrounded by his loving and devoted family at his Sonoma County home. His compassionate spirit and enormous heart will live on. He will be dearly missed by his two sons, wife, sister, niece, and a myriad of adoring friends and fans. Long live Animal! In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Wounded Warriors Project.
