Harry was born in San Francisco, the fifth child of Esther and Benjamin White, and graduated from Polytechnic High School in 1932. He served his country in World War II, in the European theater, earning a purple heart for injuries suffered on the battlefield. He returned to California, established a successful real estate business in Sonoma County, and was married to his first wife Jean for 20 years. Several years after her passing, he married his second wife, Mary, and they spent 27 happy years together. Harry was active in the Shriners; he also enjoyed golf, tennis, ping-pong, travel, and family gatherings. Harry passed away at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital from complications of pneumonia. He is survived by his brother Lewis, sister-in-law Robin, and numerous nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, cousins, and friends. He will be missed.
