Passed away peacefully in his home in the early morning hours of July 4, 2014 at the age of 67. He was born in 1947 in Riverside, CA where he grew up on a ranch with his family. It was there that he learned to ride bulls at a very young age. Ritchie was a true gentleman, and a real cowboy, who spent many years as a professional bull rider touring with the PRCA Rodeo. Ritchie also served in the Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. While Ritchie lived in Sonoma County he worked for Waste Management for over ten years. He was kind, thoughtful, intelligent and a wonderful storyteller. Ritchie was loved by many, and will truly be missed by friends and family. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life for Ritchie Sunday, July 13, 2014 from 2-4 p.m. at the Lodge at Paulin Creek 2375 Range Ave, Santa Rosa, CA 95403. Parking is very limited, so please carpool if you are able.
