Roberta N. MORRISON

MORRISON, Roberta ( Bobbie) N. October 15, 1925 - July 15, 2017 Bobbie passed away peacefully at her home in Cloverdale, she was 91. She was predeceased by husbands John O. Morrison and William L. Stader, sister Virginia Shermer, and brother Richard Loranger. She is survived by her sister, Carol Larkin, children; Lee Stader-Chan, Denise Keller, William Stader and Daun Cicinelli; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Bobbie was born in Philadelphia, PA where she started her 52 year career at age 16 as a professional jazz drummer. Bobbie traveled throughout the USA as a young adult playing with bands from trios to big bands. After hanging up her drum sticks at 70, visual arts became her creative outlet and she explored many mediums while attending art classes through SRJC. Much loved by all, she will be remembered for her individuality, intense curiosity, thirst for learning, giving spirit, and as a mentor to youth. A 'Life Celebration' is planned at her beloved Cloverdale home on October 15, 2017. Donations may be made to the Roberta N.
