GANLEY, WILLIAM A. SR. - of Ocean City, passed away at Shore Memorial Hospital on January 25, 2013. Born in Philadelphia he was a longtime Ocean City resident. He graduated from LaSalle and worked as a Lobbyist in the Maryland State Legislature and Thoroughbred Horse Trainer until retiring in 2004. Worked part-time as a Ranger at Greate Bay Country Club until 2007. He was a veteran of the Korean War
and served in the United States Navy
as a Petty Officer Second Class. William was a member of St. Frances Cabrini in Ocean City. Survivors include loving partner Karen Riley, and son William A. Ganley, Jr. William was preceded in death by Father Edward, Mother Theresa, and Brother Gene. Services will be held 11am, Tuesday, January 29th at the George H. Wimberg Funeral Home, 1707 New Rd. Linwood, with visitation beginning at 9:30am. Burial to follow at New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr, NJ. Memorials may be given to:
