Sorry to learn of your passing Jim. Been a long time but I have many fond memories of our trip to Puerta Rico and the Boy Scout trip to the Delaware Water Gap with Nelson and the boys. Say hi to Nelson for me. He was a wonderful mentor to me. Rest in peace brother, God's grace is good!

Surprised and sad to see someone so young pass. Good times in CA with the surfer gang, back when we were all so young.

Nettie, Virginia and families - so shocked and saddened to hear of Jimmie's passing. Can remember him as a young boy, so full of life and fun - and seeing him as a hard working adult but still with that young spirit! Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Shock is my first reaction to this sad news. Always liked Jimmy as we called him in high school. My sincere sympathy to his family. Another young person gone far too soon.

Jim, I hope you've found peace at last. We were long time buddies (best man at my wedding) and shared many memories, including our trip to California. We escaped more than a few trouble spots by pure luck and lived to tell the story. Here's to a great surfer and friend, with a heart of gold. RIP bro.
