MARY THOMPSON Obituary
THOMPSON, MARY ELINOR 86 - of Atlantic City, NJ, went home to be with the Lord on Dec. 4, 2013. She was born in Media, PA, to the late Samuel Saunders and Juanita Jackson. She attended the Pennsylvania school system and Temple University. Mary loved reading and spending time with family and friends. She was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan, which she threatened to sell every time they were having a losing season. Mary leaves to cherish her loving memories; her sister, Olive Bierd-Bowman; her son, Quentin Roberts; two special daughters, Rosita Haines (Greg) and Robyn Roberts (Mikey); four grandchildren, Tameekah Roberts, Atira Winters, Dashonn Pemberton, and Nasit Haines; four great-grandchildren, Adonis Roberts, Anthony Evans Jr., Aivan Evans and Aubrey Winters; She is also survived by two adoring close friends, Millicent Richardson and Sharon Gooding; along with a host of other family and friends. Family and friends are invited to her Memorial service Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Greater Refuge Church of Christ, 520 West Washington Ave., Pleasantville, NJ 08232.

I had the pleasure to meet and get to know this wonderful woman when I was a young girl. She opened her home to me and always treated me like I was family. I am eternally grateful for her love and kindness. Great lady, mother, and grandmom. Rip with the angels.
