SULLIVAN, SALLY (EICHENBERGER) - of Linwood and Egg Harbor Township passed away on September 1, 2012. Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1933, Sally was predeceased by her parents Evelyn and Walter Eichenberger and brother Walter. Sally grew up in Chestnut Hill before moving to Ocean City as a teenager, she graduated from Ocean City High School, class of 1952 and soon met the love of her life, Jim. They married in 1954 and had five children, Donna (Tom) Freund, Jim, Susan, Barbara (Jamey) Matthews and Walt (Laurie). She was also blessed with eight beautiful grand-children, Sarah and Mathew Sullivan, Jacquie and Bryan Freund, James Fonte, and Kaitlyn, Amber and Jack Sullivan. Sally volunteered as a Girl Scout Leader and was a member of the PTA. She worked as crossing guard for the city of Linwood, before retiring to enjoy her grandchildren. Sally enjoyed her family, entertaining and QVC. She will be sorely missed by her children, grandchildren, extended family and friends but most of all by her loving husband. A Catholic Prayer Service will be offered Thursday morning at half past ten o'clock from The Godfrey Funeral Home of Palermo, 644 South Shore Road, Palermo, NJ where friends may call from half past nine o'clock until the time of service. Burial will follow in Seaside Cemetery, Palermo, NJ. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Humane Society of Atlantic County, 1401 Absecon Boulevard, Atlantic City, NJ 08401.
