ANDREW SPEIGHTS Obituary
SPEIGHTS, ANDREW "ANDY" 72 - of Atlantic City, departed this life and went home to be with the Lord on January 7th in the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center of Atlantic City. Born in Marianna, Fla, he attended the Jackson Training School and graduated in 1957. "HUNK", as he was affectionately known in Marianna was a former member of New Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, he also relocated to Atlantic City that same year. ANDY worked for many years at United Exposition Service Co. (Vista Convention Services, Inc) until he retired. He also worked as a Cab Driver. Surviving are: his former wife, Joan Speights of Atlantic City; two daughters, Ann D. Speights of Atlantic City and Annette Speights-Hassan of Somers Point; four sisters, Betty Ann White (Jerome) and Shirley Bronson (Sonnie) of Marianna, Susie Franklin (Alfonso) of Randallstown, Md. and Patricia Speights of Jacksonville, Fla.; two brothers, Raymond Speights, Jr. of Marianna and Roshell Spears (Vivian) of Winston-Salem, NC; one grandson; Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Jan. 13, 2011, at Noon at 30 N. Pennsylvania Ave. Viewing from 11am to Noon. Covington Funeral Home of Atco, NJ.

Ann, our sincere condolences to you and your family. Know that we are thinking of you all at this difficult time, I know how much your father meant to you. We may not be able to make it Thursday, Jan 13, @ 30 N. Pennsylvania Atlantic City, NJ but we will be there in spirit. Love Always Gwen & Vernon Carson.
