ROGERS, EDWARD J. 90 - of Wildwood and formerly of Somerdale, and North Cape May, passed away Monday at home. Predeceased by his wife Virginia (Jean) and son Mark. He is survived by his wife Rose nee Cabral; Ffur Sons: James (Joanne), Richard, Edward and Kevin (Sandra); a daughter: Anne Richartz; two step-daughters: Colleen Conrad and Barbara Giampoala; 13 grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren; a sister: Marie Iannacone. Mr. Rodgers was a veteran of WWII in the US Army. A lifetime member of the Knights Of Columbus where he served two years as the Grand Knight. Longtime volunteer of Our Lady of Grace Parish in Somerdale where he was the first trustee of the Building Fund and was an usher for over 30 years. He retired from RCA in Moorestown and the Cape May County Park Zoo. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11am Friday 4/26/2013 at Notre Dame de la Mer Parish at St. Ann's Church, 2900 Atlantic Ave., Wildwood, NJ where friends may call from 10 AM in the church. Interment will be in the Cape May County Vetrerans Cemetery, Middle Township, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cape May County Park & Zoo or Holy redeemer Hospice would be appreciated.
