DICKERSON, JOHN W. SR. 48 - of Galloway passed away August 21, 2012 at his home. He was born in Atlantic City on August 31, 1963. John was employed as a boat builder for Egg Harbor Yachts; he was a volunteer fireman with the Pomona Vol. Fire Dept. John was a car and truck enthusiast, he enjoyed working with tools and mechanical things. His passion for life was exhibited in boat building and volunteering for the fire company. He loved life and his family. John is survived by his wife Marie of 29 years; his children Erin, John Jr. and his wife Holly and Katrina; four grandchildren Scotty, Gracelyn, Payton and Kory; brother Gary (Wendy); nephews Brandon, Gary Jr. and Howie; nieces Emilee, Danielle and Brittany; John also leaves behind his mother Sandra; brother Howard; mother-in-law Kathleen Rossi and brother-in-law Joe (LeeAnn). Visitation will be Sat. August 25th from 6 - 7:30 PM at Wimberg Funeral Home 400 Liverpool Avenue, Egg Harbor City, NJ. Family remembrances will begin at 7:30 PM. Cremation will be private.
