CALLAWAY, RONALD MUJAHID ABDULLAH IBN JAMES 55 - passed away peacefully Saturday March 17, 2012 after a brief illness. Born in Point Pleasant, March 26, 1956, he was the seventh child of the late James and Gwendolyn Callaway. He lived his entire life in Atlantic City, attended Atlantic City Public Schools. Entreprenur, Advocate for Political, Social, and Educational Justice for Atlantic City residence, actively involved in Peace Up Guns Down to intervene and stop the violence between young men in the community. He was very active in the Islamic Community all his adult life. Active member of Dawah Center of Atlantic City. Surviving is his Beloved wife Laylah Abdullah, four children, Qaadir, Mujahid, and Taqqiyyah Abdullah of Atlantic City, Kiarah Davis (Bryan) South Korea. Nine grandchildren; Five sisters, Gloria Brock (Duane) of Pleasantville, Joyce Peters (Kelvin) Gwendolyn Lewis, Dolores Callaway (Michael Hargrose), Toni Dixon (Joseph) of Atlantic City; Seven Brothers, Maurice Callaway (Darlene), Michael Callaway (Sharon), David Callaway (Tereasa) Jeffrey Callaway (Michele) of Pleasantville; Craig Callaway (Waheedah) Derek Callaway of Atlantic City, Paul Callaway of Dover, DE; Two remaining Aunts Lolita Holmes, Annette Porter, and Uncle Harold Morris. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many loving friends.
