WAYNE MORRIS SCHELLHAS

SCHELLHAS, WAYNE MORRIS 67 - of Folsom, passed away on June 4, 2011 at Atlantic Care Hospital in Galloway Township. He was living with his mother, Dorothy Schellhas, prior to being admitted to the hospital. Born in Folsom, he went to Folsom Elementary School and then graduated from Hammonton High School. After high school he worked for White Hall Laboratories in Hammonton until he was drafted into the Army. He served in Vietnam from Dec. 1965 to Dec. 1966. After returning from the Army, he went back to work for White Hall Laboratories until they closed the plant in the 1980’s. One of the things he loved was fishing. He was predeceased by his father, William R. Schellhas. He is survived by three sons, Wayne Schellhas, Jr. his wife, a grandson and a granddaughter of Barrington, NJ, Adam and Ryan Schellhas of Mays Landing, NJ, his mother Dorothy Mae Schellhas, who will be 90 years old on June 19. Three brothers, Martin and Edward Schellhas of Folsom and William M. Schellhas of Williamstown. Several nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives. Services were held privately by the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Wayne’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.
