CLONTZ, ERIC T. 62 - of Absecon, died Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Atlanticare Regional Medical Center, Galloway. He was born and raised in Dallas, TX, living most of his life there. He lived in the Poconos for six years before moving to Absecon 12 years ago. He was a school bus driver for All Saints Regional School and Lighthouse Christian Academy, Little Egg Harbor for several years. He also was a crossing guard for Marsh Elementary in Absecon for two years. He was a member of the VFW Post in Absecon and also in the Poconos. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, motorcycles and hunting. He especially loved spending time with his family. He loved laughing and making people happy. In his life, he never met a stranger. He is predeceased by his parents, Carol Ted and Vivian Clontz. He is survived by his wife Eileen (Farrell) Clontz; his children, Scot Clontz of Portland, ME, Ryan (Nada) Clontz of Slovokia, Erica (Clay) McGuire of Chapel Hill, NC and John (Alex) Clontz of Absecon; his siblings, Sherry Neal, Pamela Zeiler, Terry Johnson, and Mikel Gaither, all of Dallas/ Fort Worth, TX, area and Marsha Sonnenberg and Carolyn Behrendt, both of Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Jesse Clontz and Sophia McGuire and his mother-in-law, Isabell Farrell of Sussex. Visitation will be 10AM to 12PM Thursday, August 26, 2010 at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Ave., Absecon. A service will follow immediately at 12PM at the funeral home.
