DAVIS, MARY BETH (nee SWIERSZ) - died peacefully on November 8, 2012 following a sudden and unexpected illness. Born on the Fourth of July in 1976, Mary Beth is a native of Stillwater, the birthplace of Minnesota. She attended the University of Minnesota and the prestigious New York School of Interior Design on the Upper East Side of Manhattan where she graduated first in her class in 2003. After graduation, she joined the interior design department at SOSH Architects in Atlantic City where she worked on many gaming and hospitality projects. While in New York, Mary Beth met the love of her life Keith Davis. They enjoyed their short time together taking in all that New York has to offer; trips to Cape May; and visits to Minnesota, from fishing at "the lake" to snowmobiling in the winters. Together, they established a home in Linwood and had two sons, Harrison (age 6) and Henry (age 2). Mary Beth was a dedicated and loving mom for her two sons. In all ways, they were first in her life and remain her lasting legacy. Minnesota nice and Jersey strong, Mary Beth lit up a room with her caring and welcoming smile. It was a gift that made everyone feel special. Mary Beth had an exceptional eye for detail and sense of style, leading many to ask her for advice in designing their homes. She will be remembered for her warmth and friendliness, her creativity, hospitality and thoughtfulness. Mary Beth is survived by her husband Keith and sons Lawrence Harrison and Henry Joseph; parents Joseph and Elizabeth Swiersz of Stillwater, Minnesota; brother Jeffrey Swiersz of St. Paul, Minnesota; her Godmother Charlotte Robledo of Bayport, Minnesota; beloved Great Uncle Thomas Rowland of Oak Park Heights, Minnesota; mother-in-law and father-in-law Patricia and Herbert Davis and brother-in-law Kevin Davis, all of Galloway Township; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. Mary Beth's family will receive friends at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Linwood, New Jersey on Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 11 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. with burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Mays Landing. On November 29, 2012 at 10:00 a.m., the family will hold a gathering in the atrium of St. Michael's Church in Stillwater, Minnesota, where Mary Beth and Keith were married on July 3, 2004. A memorial Mass in Mary Beth's name will follow at 11:00 a.m. A gathering will be held for family and friends immediately thereafter in the Church hall. Memorials in Mary Beth's name may be given to the Alcove Center for Grieving Children, the
