DAVIS, SIDNEY E. 74 - of Egg Harbor Township, went home to be with the Lord after a fight with cancer on Tuesday, November 13, 2012. He was born on December 10, 1937, in Charleston, South Carolina, but spent most of his life in Atlantic City. He worked at the Trump Taj Mahal for the past 22 years up until the few weeks before he passed. He was pre-deceased by: his father, Joseph Williams; his first wife, Marie Davis; and his brother, Bernard (Buddy) Bostic. Sidney leaves to cherish his fond memories: his mother, Georgetta Bostic; his wife, Brenda Davis; six daughters, Beverly Luckett (Joe), Vickie Jones, Denise Mason (David), Sidena Jones-Hunter (Corey), Cynthia Artis (William) and Sydney White (Charles) [Care taker]; his adopted children, Joell Sanders, DeJohn Williams; two brothers, St. Jullian Williams (Brenda) and Samuel Alston; adopted brother, Clifford Alston (Barbara); four sisters, Gloria Toulson (Thomas), Doris Williams-Parks (Larry), Beverly Dockery (Nilson) and Gorgetta Bostic-Roberts (Leroy); 24 grandchildren;16 great-grand children; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins and friends. He also leaves Robbert (Bobby) Elam to cherish all their memories and boat trips. Services will be 11AM, Tuesday, November 20, 2012, Second Baptist Church, 110 Rev. Dr. I.S.
