SLOVENSKY, JOHN - of Atlantic County passed away peacefully at home on Monday, November 19, 2012. Born and raised in Fairfield, CT, he was the son of the late Frank and Theresa Huber Slovensky. He was a member of the United States Armed Forces serving during the Korean War. He was employed by the Sands Hotel and Casino for many years. Fondly remembered as a private yet witty man, his main focus in life was his family. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Jeannette Slovensky; daughters Louise Harding and her husband Rob of Texas and Lynn Stonnell of Galloway; seven grandchildren Matthew, Bobby, Katherine and Jessica Harding, Meaghan, Erin and Shannon Stonnell; his brother Frank Slovensky; sisters Marion Nemetz, Kay Zinner and Betty Lebinski. He was predeceased by four sisters Helen Biro, Theresa Ruane, Mildred Miller and Charolette Mannion, also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mass of the Resurrection will be Wed.
